Consider the "distance between encounters"

Hello everyone!
Thank you for always reading THE SALON's blog.
Fujisawa will be bringing you the report today!

How did you all spend the New Year holidays?

One day at the end of the year, I happened to turn on the TV and saw a drama that was being broadcast.
The work in question was "Hyouka", which I hadn't watched in a long time.
This drama is characterized by a story in which the main character, Tono Kuno, unravels human relationships and social issues from his own unique perspective. When I watched it again, I was captivated by his profound words and thoughts, and I found myself hooked all over again.

Sei-kun is a university student who influences those around him with his unique way of thinking and powers of observation. Although he usually appears calm, the words that come out of his mouth often capture the essence of human nature, and I am taken aback every time I hear them.

While working in the dating club, I see many people searching for "what is the ideal encounter?" It is a theme that we, the staff, also think about every day.
When people meet and build relationships, perhaps the most important thing is to determine "what distance each person should maintain in their interactions."
In the midst of all this, these words of Sei-kun come to mind.

The distance between people is not good if it is too close or too far. Finding a comfortable distance is the basis of a relationship.

Even in relationships, it is important to respect each other's values and lifestyles and build a comfortable distance.
Our staff aims to support our members in finding that perfect balance.

Also, when thinking about distance, we must not forget the perspective of "compassion." Sei-kun also left us with these words:

Making an effort to get to know the other person enriches the relationship.

Trying to understand the other person's feelings and background will make your encounter deeper.
It's not just about appearance and circumstances, but also thinking about what values the person has and the kind of life they have lived.
This is surely the first step to a truly good encounter.

Meeting people at the Dating Club is not a fleeting encounter, but an opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship.
That's why we want to support you in building a comfortable relationship based on mutual respect from the very first meeting.

I hope that through Sei-kun's words, your wonderful encounters will become even more enriching.
Thank you for your continued support this year m(__)m🎀
