The first impression is the deciding factor!
Thank you all for your help.
Kakishima will be in charge of this staff blog.
"Hello," "Nice to meet you," "Thank you for coming today"
Did you know that such a casual remark can greatly affect the starting point of a relationship?
We take "greetings" for granted in our daily lives, but in fact, that one word is the first step in building a relationship of trust with the other person. Especially in a relationship like THE SALON where you don't know each other very well yet, the politeness of your greeting is a very important factor that will determine the impression you make afterwards!
The next most important thing after greetings is how you speak, your posture, and small gestures.
- How to behave when you open the door and meet someone
・Movement when sitting on a chair
・Attitude of listening to the other person
All of these are "silent messages" that tell us a lot about who you are.
Both men and women place importance on points such as "Is it comfortable to be with you?" and "Can you trust me?" In this context, polite and elegant behavior will be a weapon that will make you appear more attractive than conversation!
Changing the topic a little, are you familiar with "Mehrabian's Law"?
It is said that a person's first impression is made up of 55% visual information, 38% auditory information, and 7% verbal information.
"Visual information," which accounts for the largest proportion, does not just refer to looks, but all visible elements such as facial expressions, gestures, and clothing.
In other words, about 9% of the impression someone has of you within the first few seconds to minutes is determined by your appearance, demeanor, and the way you speak!?!?
Of course, it was the first time we met at THE SALON.
Whether or not you are perceived as "nice" or "well-behaved" on first impression will have a big impact on your relationship thereafter.
We at the salon are also conscious of this "first impression" as we carry out our daily work, such as interviews and setting up appointments.
We believe that by keeping these things in mind, you will increase the chances of developing a relationship that is not just a one-off, but one that is built on trust!
How you behave in the first few minutes can make a big difference in your future.
First of all, why not try greeting people nearby more politely than usual?
If there is a chance, I would appreciate your help again next time.
