I went on a trip to Kagoshima!

This staff blog post is written by Kakishima, who recently celebrated her birthday.

A senior from my university days is currently living in Kagoshima, and I happened to have some time off, so I went to visit him.

Actually, I've been there before, but that was in the middle of summer last year.

I remember visiting Sakurajima during a solo trip, and after being overwhelmed by the lack of shade, I escaped to an aquarium near the ferry terminal.

This time, it wasn't just cool, it rained, so I wouldn't say it was particularly comfortable, but at least I didn't experience any exhaustion from the heat.

As I felt the same way when I went there before, as someone born and raised in Tokyo, I'm deeply moved by even a small view of mountains, the sea, and nature.
I feel particularly emotional just by looking at the horizon.

I think I have a rather simple sensibility.

The meat, fish, and drinks were all delicious, so I'd like to adjust my schedule and go again.

Outside of summer.

In short, I want to spend the new year feeling refreshed, having grown older, traveling, and rejuvenated.
