That time of year has come again... It's time for our annual summer story about "scents" 🌻
Always I am indebted.
Fujisawa will be in charge today 🌸
There's a theme I always write about around this time every year.
It's about "smell."
Some of you might be thinking, "Not this again," but that's how important summer is to me. I'll keep writing about it. (laughs)
To be honest, during this time of year, whether I'm walking around town or riding the train, I really notice a lot more instances where I think, "That smell is bothering me..."
And this is something I would especially like to tell our male members...
Many people are completely unaware of this themselves.
"I'm fine."
If you feel that way, I urge you to stop and think for a moment.
Sweat, body odor, bad breath.
We often become so accustomed to these things that we don't even notice them.
So instead of waiting until I think, "Does it smell?" to take countermeasures,
"It might smell."
I hope you'll be mindful of this and take care of yourself on a regular basis.
Not just on dates, but every day.
Use antiperspirant.
I carry deodorant wipes with me.
Take care of your shirts, jackets, and shoes.
Take care of your breath after eating.
These small things add up and contribute to a sense of cleanliness.
Many women take extra time to prepare for a date, such as going to the hair salon or buying new clothes.
That's why I would be happy if men also took "scent" into consideration as part of their grooming routine.
No matter how enjoyable the conversation, or how wonderful the person, sometimes a scent is the only thing that sticks in your memory.
Conversely, the impression of being "clean and neat" alone can lead to a sense of security and a positive impression.
I know I make the same request every year, but this year too, I only have one wish.
I hope that instead of thinking "I'll be fine," you'll spend this summer with the mindset of "I should be careful too."
Cleanliness cannot be bought with money, but it can be achieved through thoughtfulness.
I'm sure that thoughtfulness will be conveyed to the other person. 🌻
