There are moments when I suddenly think, "I really like our members."

Always I am indebted.

Today I'd like to talk about something a little different than usual.

The other day, while I was working, I suddenly thought,

"I really like our members."

There was a moment when I thought that. (laughs)

Of course, I get to talk to the members I'm in charge of about various things on a regular basis, so I naturally feel a sense of closeness to them.

However, even if a member isn't my assigned contact, I've met them a few times before, and they remember things we've talked about previously.

It's kind of nice to gradually become acquainted with people like that.

It's better to keep a little distance at first.

"The other day..."

They started talking to me in a friendly and casual way.

What started as just necessary communication gradually turned into casual small talk.

"Actually, this happened..."

And then they started talking to me about things like their work and their personal life.

I actually quite like those kinds of casual moments.

As staff members, we are, of course, just "staff" to our members, so there is a certain distance we maintain between us and them.

That's why, in that process, you gradually gain our trust.

"I think I can talk to this person."

I think it would be incredibly rewarding if people came to think that way about me.

Both male and female members may seem nervous or a little reserved at first, but after meeting a few times, their true selves gradually begin to show.

Seeing that is one of the things I enjoy about working as a staff member.

Of course, not every day is fun.

I receive all sorts of inquiries, and sometimes I even share in their worries.

Even so, sometimes

"I'm glad I got to talk to this person again today."

"I'm glad I'm doing this job."

There are moments when I think that.

I think what I like about my relationships with our members is that they're not just "staff and member," but that we gradually grow closer as people.

We have casual conversations, laugh at silly things, and occasionally discuss serious matters.

It makes me incredibly happy to feel that I've earned their trust through these accumulated experiences.

Going forward, we will continue to serve our members.

"I feel so calm when I come to the salon."

"I think I'll ask Fujisawa-san for a bit of advice."

I hope I can be someone that people think of in that way.

...I was thinking about that the other day. (laughs)

I'm so fortunate to have such wonderful members.
And I really do like our members.

That's what I've been thinking lately. ☺️
